Responsibilities
  • Work as an individual contributor within the customer's extended team.
  • Conduct validation of WiFi (802.11 ax/ac/ay/ad) and Bluetooth (BTC/BLE) protocols, covering various profiles.
  • Perform connectivity technology validation, including protocol and performance characterization.
  • Set up and utilize connectivity test equipment such as Octobox, Veriwave, Vertex.
  • Use packet sniffers like Wireshark, tcpdump, iPerf, Ellisys for traffic analysis.
  • Manage traffic generators such as iGen, Ixia Chariot, iPerf.
  • Analyze sniffer logs, identify issues, and document findings.
  • Define and write test plans and test cases.
  • Work with application, framework, network protocol stacks, and driver/FW code related to WiFi and BLE.
Key Performance Measurements
  • Hands-on experience with WiFi chip interfaces at the processor level.
  • Ability to work at the WiFi driver layer in Linux kernel.
