As a Qualcomm Wireless Systems Engineer, you have the opportunity to push the boundaries of what exists and establish the new standards for tomorrow. You will work as an equal contributor on a team of leading engineers to innovate on WIFI, Bluetooth and UWB Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs) and architect, analyze and simulate cutting-edge, next-generation wireless networks.

Required for this role:

1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field with one plus years of experience.
2. Strong foundation in RF Power Amplifiers, LNAs, and transceivers.
3. Familiarity with wireless standard 802.11 from a radio perspective.
4. Proficiency in measuring parameters like EVM, SEM, and SNR using lab equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers.
5. At least one year of academic experience with programming languages like C/C++ and Python.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of communication theory and signal processing.
2. Experience with wireless standards (e.g., LTE, WiFi, 5G, UMTS).
3. Expertise in designing and developing test automation frameworks using C/C++, LabVIEW, or Python.
4. Good understanding of AI/ML concepts such as Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, On-Device Learning, Transfer Learning, and ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, Keras) within the wireless domain.
5. Ability to program effectively in C#, Python, and/or Matlab.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience with designing RF/Analog circuits for wireless products (e.g., LNA's, PLL's) and 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, or related work experience.
2. OR Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, or related work experience.
3. OR PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, or related work experience.
4. 2+ years of academic or professional experience using two or more of the following software: CADENCE, Virtuoso, ADS.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$151,800.00 - $227,800.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
