Job summary

Qualcomm Atheros, Inc. is seeking a System Test Engineer to perform system-level testing of WLAN and Bluetooth connectivity. You will test protocol functionality, end-to-end behavior, performance, and RF/PHY validation, and work with cross-functional teams to drive product readiness.

Qualifications include a background in digital communications, WLAN tech, OFDMA/MIMO concepts, Python programming, and a track record in test automation; MS degree preferred and 1–2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
1–2 years of hands-on system testing and debugging experience is considered a plus.
Experience with WLAN and Bluetooth testing is preferred.
Experience developing automated test solutions and/or Python programming skills.

Responsibilities

Perform System level testing for wireless connectivity products, especially WLAN and Bluetooth.
Test: Protocol functionality; End-to-end system behavior; Performance; Physical layer and RF features.
Develop and execute test cases under various operational scenarios; Analyze results, debug issues, and provide recommendations.
Enhance and automate test procedures and analysis tools.
Work closely with system, software, hardware, and RF engineers to support commercialization and product launches.
