Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is seeking wireless security engineers for its Colorado Springs field office. The role focuses on developing integrated cyber and electronic warfare capabilities to evaluate vulnerabilities in military assets and critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities include over‑the‑air testing, SDR algorithm development, and reporting with actionable recommendations, in a hybrid work environment with a mix of lab and test activities.

Formación

• Experience developing and executing manual and automated testing solutions for simple to complex systems including hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing.
• Knowledge of RF system components and transceiver architectures.
• Experience with RF lab test and measurement equipment and RF protocol analysis.
• Experience with SDR frameworks and signal processing toolkits.
• Proficient in programming in C/C++ and Python.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and demonstrate over‑the‑air techniques to access and exploit wireless networks.
• Develop SDR algorithms to reverse engineer signals and generate RF signals.
• Research device under test capabilities to determine functionality and weaknesses.
• Perform tests to assess susceptibility to jamming, spoofing, and countermeasures.
• Prepare technical reports and deliverables with actionable cybersecurity recommendations.
