Verizon Wireless Retail Sales Associate

Location: Fairfax, VA

Compensation: Up to $28.00 per hour or more, includes base hourly rate, commissions, incentives, and employee benefits and perks.

Overview

As a Verizon Wireless Retail Sales Associate at Your Wireless, you will provide an excellent customer experience by educating customers on Verizon products and services, and guiding them through the selection and buying process.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive customer experience for each customer, every day.
• Assist new and existing customers throughout the sales process.
• Educate customers on all Verizon products and services.
• Produce sufficient sales to meet and exceed company and location production standards.
• Handle all customer situations as trained to completely satisfy customers’ needs.
• Assist Store Manager and Assistant Manager with assigned tasks.
• Complete all required training as directed by Your Wireless and Verizon Wireless.
• Set an example of personal and professional conduct for employees and others.
• Develop professional skills to take on additional responsibilities that lead to career advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a similar retail role, preferably with Verizon Wireless or another wireless business.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Proof of achievement in prior sales and customer service roles.
• Enthusiasm for retail, wireless technology, products, and customer service.
• Ability to travel to various locations in assigned district as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self‑motivated and goal oriented.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with a flexible schedule.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and able to provide proof of work eligibility in the US.
