An established industry player is seeking a Wireless Radio Digital Verification Lead to spearhead the verification of cutting-edge wireless silicon technology. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of developing advanced testbenches and methodologies for high-performance wireless radio digital controllers. Your expertise will influence cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration and verification of complex systems. If you have a passion for innovation and a strong background in ASIC verification, this opportunity offers a chance to make a significant impact in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Apple’s growing wireless silicon development team is responsible for developing the next generation of wireless silicon! In this role, you will be responsible for ASIC pre-silicon verification of complex high-performance Wireless Radio digital controllers, radio sub-systems, and radio integration. You will develop advanced testbenches, enhance methodologies, develop verification plans, debug functional tests, and utilize coverage analytics. You will influence many cross-functional teams across the organization.
Your responsibilities include leading verification of the radio digital sub-system, including radio controllers, system scenarios, and integration activities. You will architect and develop new testbenches, environments, and scenarios for next-generation wireless technology. Collaboration with teams such as Design, RF, and Systems will be essential for reviewing specifications, extracting features, and defining verification plans. You will also drive coverage analysis and collaborate on digital and mixed-signal co-simulations using SystemVerilog analog behavioral models.
Minimum requirements include experience in leading cross-functional teams across multiple ASIC generations, working with complex Digital-Analog interfaces and protocols (PLLs, DACs, ADCs preferred), and advanced knowledge of ASIC verification flows with SystemVerilog/UVM. Experience in developing testbenches from scratch, debugging, coverage closure, and scripting is necessary. Familiarity with digital mixed-signal models and DSP/cmodels is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with teams such as design, radio, systems, PHY, and modeling are required. Exposure to wireless protocols like WiFi/802.11, Bluetooth, or Cellular is advantageous.
