Skyworks Solutions is seeking a motivated Wireless Protocol Engineer Co-Op to join our Hillsboro, OR team for the Winter/Spring 2027 term (January–June). Qualifications

• Must be enrolled for the entire co-op term (Jan–Jun 2027).
• Pursuing BS/MS/PhD in CS/CE preferred.
• Strong C programming for embedded systems.
• Familiarity with Python for scripting.
• Basic understanding of microcontrollers and embedded environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded firmware for MAC layer functionality.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and test engineers.
• Debug firmware issues using lab equipment and tools.
• Write and maintain firmware design documentation.
• Support integration and validation in system environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
