Skyworks Solutions is seeking a motivated Embedded Firmware Engineer Co-Op for the Winter/Spring 2027 term in Hillsboro, OR. Eligible candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, with working knowledge of C for embedded systems and familiarity

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of C for embedded systems.
• Familiarity with Python for scripting and automation.
• Basic understanding of microcontrollers and embedded development environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded firmware for wireless systems focusing on drivers, BSP and applications.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and test engineers.
• Debug firmware issues using lab equipment and software tools.
• Write and maintain firmware design/implementation documentation.
• Support integration and validation of firmware in system environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
