Job description

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Wireless Field Integrator with Ericsson experience to join our team in the Salt Lake City market. You will work closely with engineering and operations teams to integrate, test, and optimize wireless networks utilizing Ericsson technologies.

This is a long-term position, and you MUST be authorized to work in the US for any employer.

Market: Salt Lake City, Utah

Duration: 6 - 12 Months


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implement software installation, configuration, integration, and migration work.
  2. Prepare, document, and complete SOW, end-to-end test, and acceptance test.
  3. Troubleshoot, identify defects, fix or seek resolution.
  4. Identify and drive product or process improvements.
  5. Collaborate in a team environment with excellent collaboration and support.
  6. Extensive knowledge on 4GLTE /5G Ericsson technologies, including Band frequencies.
  7. Extensive troubleshooting skills with these technologies; capable of identifying issues in a timely manner.
  8. Extensive knowledge on Back Haul transport and fiber loss troubleshooting; capable of identifying issues at a minimal time.
  9. Ericsson 6160 Controller Integration experience.
  10. BBU 5216/6630/6648/6651/6610 installation and integrations.
  11. Used ESI (Ericsson Site Integrator) box for auto integrations with ECI scripts.
  12. Knowledge on manual integrations on BBUs with CV restore and SIF files.
  13. Ensure that Operating System (OS), Hardware (HW), Software (SW), licenses, and configuration data is up-to-date and in the correct format.
  14. Able to perform SRS automated call testing, including the E911 testing.
  15. Knowledge on Back haul transport and fiber loss troubleshooting.
  16. NEA/AREA Testing experience.
  17. Alarm 66 Testing experience.
  18. Able to travel around the market.
  19. Knowledge on Excel and Word for reporting and tracking purposes for daily logs.
  20. We also expect that you have your own vehicle, a basic set of tools for work on wireless sites, laptop, cell phone, and ability to work outside.
