Job summary

Skydio, the leading US drone company, is seeking a motivated Summer Intern to support its Wireless Engineering team in design validation and data analysis. This role focuses on building scalable data processing pipelines and tools to analyze wireless validation data from bench and factory testing, working closely with RF and antenna engineers.

You will help accelerate product development and manufacturing readiness, building cloud-based dashboards, ensuring data quality, and translating test

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's (junior/senior) or higher in EE/CE or related field.
• Strong fundamentals in wireless systems, RF engineering, or antenna theory.
• Proficiency in cloud-based development and data processing (Python, data pipelines, scripting, APIs).
• Experience with large datasets and building scalable analysis tools.
• Familiarity with data visualization frameworks is a plus.
• Willingness to work in a cross-functional engineering environment.
• Detail-oriented, self-driven, and eager to learn in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated data processing pipelines for RF and antenna validation data.
• Build cloud-based dashboards for factory test data ingestion, processing, and visualization.
• Improve data quality checks and validation frameworks for wireless metrics.
• Collaborate with RF engineers to translate test requirements into scalable workflows.
• Optimize scripts and infrastructure for efficient wireless analysis.
• Document best practices for wireless data management across development and manufacturing.
