Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. seeks a Consulting Engineer - Wireless to deliver planning, design, implementation and optimization services for Service Provider and Enterprise accounts. You will drive architectural planning, configure and integrate wireless solutions and provide ongoing support for complex WLAN deployments.

Travel up to 25% to on-site meetings is required; work spans collaboration with Customer Experience, TAC, development engineering and sales teams on WLAN projects.

Qualifications

• BSEE/CS or equivalent with strong technical leadership experience.
• RF design, survey/engineering and WLAN troubleshooting with Ekahau or Hamina.
• IP network design and deployment of WLAN apps including Voice over WLAN.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Wireless Planning, Design, Implementation & Optimization Services for major accounts.
• Perform architectural planning and design with configuration and integration support.
• Provide operational support for complex wireless deployments.
• Identify and document design/architecture guidelines for global Cisco Services adoption.
