Job summary

Socket.dev seeks a seasoned software engineer to join the Wireless Technologies and Ecosystems team. You will work cross-functionally to develop software enabling Apple’s cellular devices to operate on carrier networks worldwide.

Key requirements include strong C++, Objective-C or Swift, Python scripting, Unix shell, and experience with SQL/NoSQL databases. You will debug, optimize, and contribute to macOS/iOS frameworks and web services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally with software engineering, QA, project management, and carrier account management teams to develop and deliver software.
• Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Develop software that enables devices to work on carrier networks worldwide and apply AI to real-world problems.
