Job summary
Apple Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Software Engineer to advance cellular technologies across devices. You will work on all layers of the cellular stack, designing high-performance Layer1 control software and collaborating with system engineering and modem test teams.

Qualifications
- Experience designing, implementing and launching cellular modem software.

Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize core cellular technologies for Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Watch, etc).
- Work across cellular protocol stack, Layer1 control and PHY interfaces; collaborate with system engineering and modem test teams.
- Design and implement Layer1 control software to improve connectivity and user experience.
- Identify, investigate and solve complex cellular technology problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-performance cellular systems.
- Contribute to innovation by evolving traditional cellular ecosystem models.
- Ensure continuous connectivity across Apple's wireless product lines.
