Job summary

First Hawaiian Bank in Honolulu is seeking a Wire Transfer Specialist to join the EOS-Wire Transfer Department. You will ensure timely and accurate processing of domestic and foreign wires, perform data entry, verification, and release of wires while delivering courteous service to internal and external customers.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least two years in banking operations and customer service, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience
• 2 years of experience in banking operations, specifically with wire transfers
• 2 years of experience in customer service
• Required experience may be obtained concurrently.
• Effective written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills
• Exercises sound discretion
• Able to set priorities and meet established deadlines
• Possess a high level of attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite of applications
• Able to work under pressure with tight cutoff timeframes
• Experience working with large dollar wire transaction amounts up to tens of millions
• Able to handle confidential matters judiciously

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this role is $18.00 - $23.00/hr; commensurate with experience.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 4:00PM (hours may vary)
