Job summary

Visions Federal Credit Union is seeking a Wire Transfer Specialist to process domestic and international wire transfers, ensure compliance, and support branches and members with expert guidance.

You will work across departments, maintain awareness of regulatory changes, and contribute to audits and process improvements. Training occurs at our Endwell, NY headquarters, with on-site, hybrid, or NY/NJ/PA remote work options for eligible residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with 1–3 years of related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Adobe products, and standard office technology.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Process domestic and international wire transfers accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor wire activity for exceptions, trends, and potential fraud, escalating as needed.
• Serve as a resource for branches and internal departments on wire-related questions.
• Support training efforts and improve organizational knowledge of wire transfer operations.
• Assist audits and collaborate with Fraud and other departments on suspicious activity.
• Stay aware of regulatory requirements, industry changes, and emerging payment/fraud trends.
• Participate in payment-related projects, process improvements, and system enhancements.
• Provide backup operational coverage and adapt to changing business needs.
