Job summary

Synerfac Technical Staffing is seeking a Wire Rope & Chain Fabricator in Aston Township, PA for a contract-to-hire role. You will fabricate and assemble rigging products using wire rope, chain, slings, and hardware, and operate swaging presses, cutting tools, and splicing equipment.

You’ll read blueprints and specs to ensure accuracy, inspect materials for quality, and support safety and efficiency on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Some welding experience or skill is required.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and industrial machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Basic math skills and ability to read measurements accurately.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble rigging products, including wire rope slings, synthetic slings, chain slings, and other lifting assemblies.
• Operate industrial machinery such as swaging presses, cutting tools, and splicing equipment.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accuracy in fabrication.
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality and compliance with safety standards.
• Perform load testing and proof testing on rigging products when required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and customer specifications.
• Assist with inventory management and tracking of materials and supplies.

You will be responsible for the production and assembly of custom rigging products used in lifting and material handling applications.
