Job summary

Lonestar Electric Supply seeks a Wire Room Associate to join a dynamic warehouse team. You will receive, stock, verify and package wires, and help load/unload orders while maintaining organization and safety in the wire room.

You will also update inventory records, follow Supervisor instructions, and deliver dependable support to internal and external partners, with a focus on accuracy and proactive communication.

Qualifications

• Must have strong reading and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate wire and material handling equipment (e.g., wire cutters, hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts).
• Epicor Eclipse ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and stock wires used in the electrical industry.
• Review orders, pull wires from spools, inspect for accuracy, and wrap for transport.
• Provide loading and unloading support as needed.
• Update databases timely and provide accurate inventory counts.
• Follow processes and procedures as instructed by Lead or Wire Room Supervisor.
• Help maintain a clean and organized working environment.
• Follow established safety guidelines and proper protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external partners, customers, logistics professionals, vendors and employees.
• Proactive communication to management regarding issues and concerns.
