Job summary

O&K American Corp. in Seymour, IN is seeking a Cleaning House Operator for 2nd and 3rd shifts. The role involves descaling coil and coating steel wire/rod so it can be annealed or processed in wire draw machines.

You will follow safety procedures, operate cranes, read production procedures, and help maintain a clean, organized workspace under the 5S program. O&K offers great benefits and opportunities to grow with a long-standing manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Basic computer skills.
• Overhead crane experience in an industrial setting is preferred.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Descale coil and coat steel wire/rod for annealing or processing.
• Follow safety procedures and 5S practices to keep area clean and organized.
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts as required.
• Read, understand, and follow production procedures for CH and related tasks.
• Load, deliver, and manage coil and materials per schedule.
