• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Willingness to learn manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate wire mill, wire-drawing and related manufacturing equipment.
• Set up machines and equipment according to production specifications and work instructions.
• Monitor machine operation and make routine adjustments to maintain production rates and product quality.
• Inspect wire throughout the manufacturing process for diameter, surface condition, straightness, finish, and other specifications.
• Use measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Identify and report equipment problems, product defects, and unusual operating conditions.
• Perform routine machine cleaning, lubrication, tooling changes, and basic preventive maintenance.
• Safely handle raw materials, finished wire, tooling, and production equipment.
• Maintain accurate production, quality, and downtime records.
• Follow work orders, production schedules, process specifications, and quality requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S and company standards.
• Follow all company safety policies, including proper use of PPE.
• Communicate production issues, quality concerns, and equipment conditions to supervisors, maintenance personnel, and other team members.
