Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is seeking a Wire Harness Sub-Assembly worker for the 1st shift at our Arden, NC location. The hourly rate is $19.50 per hour and salaries are based on skills and experience.

Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and be within 50 miles of Arden. Eaton does not offer immigration sponsorship or relocation assistance. TPM and 5S+ duties are part of daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Receive work assignments from Supervisor or Team Lead

• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials for continuous operation and calibration
• Inspect final component against work specifications
• Provide on-the-job training for new Operators
• Perform TPM and 5S+ responsibilities daily
• Complete any other assigned tasks from management

What you’ll do:

• A. Observe all safety rules and hygiene regulations
• B. Receive work assignments, oral or written instructions from Supervisor or Team Lead
• C. Interpret work orders including written, Kanban cards, and drawings
• D. Complete necessary paperwork and system transactions
• E. Maintain tools, equipment, and materials for continuous operation and calibration
• F. Inspect final component against work specifications
• G. Provide on-the-job training for new Operators
• H. Perform TPM and 5S+ responsibilities daily
• I. Complete any other assigned tasks from management

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. from an accredited institution

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Fabrication
• Able to read calipers, protractors and tape measures
• DMM experience

Position Criteria:

• Able to lift 35 pounds - waist, shoulder, overhead
• Proven history of safe work habits and good attendance*
• Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision
• Computer skills - Microsoft Office, Internet (JOE), DMM, etc.
• Must be able to work overtime - weekdays and weekends
