Job summary

ManpowerGroup is partnering with a leading manufacturing and electrical systems client in Mebane, NC to hire a Harness Design Engineer. The role supports product development and manufacturing teams with strong technical and collaborative skills.

You will design wire harness assemblies, create wiring diagrams and BOMs, define routing, and support prototyping and testing through the product lifecycle. Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience, with CAD proficiency (CATIA, NX, Creo or

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in EE/Mechatronics or related field.
Minimum 3 years in wire harness or interconnect design.
Experience creating wiring diagrams and harness drawings.
Proficiency with 3D CAD software (CATIA/NX/Creo/SolidWorks).

Responsibilities

Design and develop wire harness assemblies and electrical interconnect systems.
Collaborate with end customer engineers to integrate harnesses within equipment constraints.
Create and maintain harness drawings, schematics, BOMs, and documentation.
Define harness routing, retention methods, and protection strategies for reliability.
Support prototyping, testing, validation, and troubleshooting throughout the product lifecycle.
