  • Develop new electrical products from initial concept through production release
  • Translate customer requirements and technical specifications into reliable and manufacturable harness designs
  • Create electrical schematics, engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and manufacturing documentation
  • Select appropriate connectors, terminals, wire, cable, protective components, and other electrical hardware
  • Build and evaluate prototype wiring harnesses for laboratory and vehicle testing
  • Support short‑run and prototype production builds as required
  • Participate in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA)
  • Support Design Verification Testing (DVT) and validation of prototype and production samples
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting and support root cause investigations
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams and suppliers to improve harness manufacturability and production processes
  • Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles to improve quality, cost, reliability, and production efficiency
  • Develop and maintain prototype, testing, and production workstations
  • Provide technical guidance regarding electrical harness design and manufacturing best practices
  • Assist with installation manuals, technical documentation, and product support materials
  • Provide technical troubleshooting support to internal teams and customers
  • Collaborate with domestic and international engineering and manufacturing teams
  • Identify opportunities to improve electrical product performance, engineering standards, and development processes
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Professional experience designing electrical wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, or vehicle electrical systems
  • Experience with SolidWorks, Arcadia CAD, or similar electrical/harness design software
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Knowledge of wire, connectors, terminals, cable assemblies, and electrical components
  • Experience creating engineering drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation
  • Understanding of wiring harness manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Experience supporting prototype development, testing, and product validation
  • Knowledge of DFMEA or structured product development methodologies
