Job summary

You will set up EDM machines, inspect parts for quality, perform routine maintenance, and input accurate parameters into the control system while maintaining a clean, well‑organized work area and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience operating a Wire EDM machine.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Understanding and application of GD&T is required.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation of processes.
• Background in R&D, prototyping or high-mix environments is a plus.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate EDM machines.
• Inspect parts produced to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance to ensure proper operation.
• Enter all necessary parameters into machine control and select correct program.
• Clean and conduct preventative maintenance of machines.
• Keep equipment and work area clean and organized.
• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, height gauge, and indicators.
• Other duties may be assigned.
