Job summary

Mol-Son, LLC is seeking a Wire EDM Operator in Michigan to set up and operate Wire EDM equipment, program controls, and collaborate with mold makers on fixturing for precise tooling parts.

You will measure completed work, monitor machine maintenance, and maintain high safety and housekeeping standards while supporting related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating Wire EDM equipment to produce precision tooling components.
• Ability to program Wire EDM controls and interface with CAM software.
• Experience designing fixturing and working with mold makers to optimize machining approaches.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Wire EDM equipment.
• Program machine controls and CAM software.
• Design and discuss insert bars and fixturing with mold makers.
• Check and measure work performed to ensure tolerances.
• Monitor equipment maintenance and upkeep.
• Uphold safety and housekeeping standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
