Job Title: EDM/CNC Machinist 3 – Set Up Technician

Department: Production; Machining

FLSA Status: Hourly; Non-Exempt

Shift: 1st (6:00 am), 2nd (2:00 pm to 10:30 pm), or 3rd (10:00 pm to 6:30 am)

Machine Type: Mitsubishi Advanced

Software & Skills: MasterCAM, ERP (Epicor preferred), Microsoft Office

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Set up, program, operate, and troubleshoot EDM machines.
• Read and interpret programs, edit G & M codes.
• CAM software knowledge is a plus.
• Use gauges, micrometers, calipers, optical comparator, and other measuring tools proficiently.
• Ensure quality of each setup and production run.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proficient in GD&T.
• Manufacturing experience in medical/aerospace industries preferred.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.
• Help reduce scrap, costs, and time.
• Maintain a positive work environment.
• Dependable with reliable, timely, and consistent attendance.
