Wire EDM Machine Operator

Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30 PM

Pay Rate: $28-$32/hr (depending on experience)

Location: Miamisburg, Ohio

Experience: 1-2 years, 5+ Years

Job Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate Wire EDM machines to produce precision parts according to specifications
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
• Program Wire EDM machines using CAD/CAM software
• Monitor machining processes and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on Wire EDM equipment
• Inspect finished parts for conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to improve processes and resolve issues
• Document production data and maintain accurate records
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures

Skills Required:
• Proven experience as a Wire EDM Machine Operator or in a similar role
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Hands-on experience with Wire EDM machines and CAD/CAM software
• Strong understanding of metalworking principles and practices
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments accurately
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant coursework is a plus
