Sonepar in Irving, TX is seeking a reliable warehouse associate to support the distribution center operations on Fri-Sun and alternating Thursdays (7am–7pm). You will measure and cut wire, prepare shipments, and maintain accurate lot records.

Qualifications

• Six months or more of related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills required.
• Manual agility required for operating machinery and handling small parts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut wire/cable accurately.
• Fill out lot cards accurately.
• Quality control to prevent damaged product.
• Verify and calibrate equipment for safe operation.
• Package, label, and ship products.
• Stage product for loading.
• Load and unload product from trucks.
• Move wire/cable to warehouse rack storage and manage waste.
• Operate PIT and forklifts safely.
• Complete daily PIT logs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Follow SOPs and OSHA standards.
