Job summary

TMD Staffing in Houston is seeking a Wire Cutter to join our on-site shop. The role involves measuring, cutting, and spooling wire/cable to precise specifications, operating a cutting machine, and preparing orders for shipment or assembly.

Candidates should have prior wire cutter experience, be able to lift heavy loads, and possess good math skills with tape measure reading. Shift timing is 11am-8pm, with possible overtime and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous wire cutter experience required.
• Able to lift heavy items, stand all shift.
• Good math skills and ability to read a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and spool wire/cable to customer specs.
• Operate industrial cutting machine and manage material for inventory.
• Prepare customer orders for shipments and/or assembly.
• Set up machinery, load, and cut according to orders.
• Measure wire accurately and verify cuts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Measure, cut, and spooling wire/cable to meet exact customer specifications.Operate industrial cutting machine, manage material for inventory reasonsPrepare customer orders for shipments and/or assemblySet up machinery, load, and cut according to ordersMeasure wire accurately and verify cuts

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous wire cutter experience neededAble to handle heavy lifting, repetitive movement, and stand for entire shiftGood math skills and able to read a tape measure

PAY

PAY $20/hour + DOE

SCHEDULE

11am-8pm, Mon-Friday but flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed
