Sustainable Staffing Inc. is seeking an Advanced Wire Cutter in Spring Grove, IL to operate and set up wire-cutting machines for job specifications. The role offers first shift hours from 6:30am to 3pm with a pay rate of $18 per hour.

Responsibilities include inspecting products, troubleshooting equipment, and reading cut sheets. A high school diploma or relevant experience, English literacy, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds are required; training for setup is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or relevant work experience.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Able to convert fractions to decimals (teachable).
• Ability to read a ruler to 1/64 of an inch.
• Set up own machine (can be taught).
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Read small print at 12-18 inches.

Responsibilities

• Identify specifications from cut sheets and job orders.
• Set up wire-cutting machines to job specs.
• Maintain and troubleshoot wire-cutting machines.
• Inspect products to verify specifications.
• Communicate issues with supervisor.
• Interpret written or diagrammatic instructions.
• Stand and work on concrete floor.
• Maintain a brisk production pace.

Job Position: Advanced Wire Cutter

Advanced Wire Cutter Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify proper specifications from cut sheets and job orders.
• Manually and digitally set up wire-cutting machines to job specifications.
• Maintain and troubleshoot wire-cutting machines.
• Inspect products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Communicate problems with machine operation and set-up supervisor.
• Interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Work while standing on a concrete floor the majority of time.
• Maintain a brisk pace and meet generally accepted production rates.

Advanced Wire Cutter Qualifications and Requirements
