Job summary

Alameda Electrical Distributors & California Service Tool in Modesto, CA, is seeking a full-time Wire Center Associate II to operate equipment, handle wire, and support daily branch operations.

The role offers medical/dental/vision insurance with options, 401(k) with employer match, paid holidays and PTO, and a safety-focused work environment. Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM, with opportunities for bonuses and career growth.

Qualifications

• Applicants must pass background check and drug test.
• Previous wire center or distribution experience preferred.
• Must work Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Accurately cut, label, and package wire per customer orders.
• Load and unload materials; complete receiving documentation.
• Safely operate wire-cutting machines and related tools.
• Stage and store materials in designated areas.
• Conduct quality inspections on wire products.
• Assist with inventory tasks, including cycle counts and replenishment.
• Support process improvement and maintain a clean workspace.
• Follow all company safety policies and promptly report any damage.

As our Wire Center Associate II, here are some of the duties the position will be doing:

• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
