Alameda Electrical Distributors in Sacramento, CA, seeks two full-time Warehouse Associate II to join the branch team. Duties include pulling tickets, restocking, preparing orders for shipment, operating wire machines and forklifts, and supporting sales and drivers. Strong attention to safety and customer service are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Pass forklift certification training.
• Detail-oriented and accurate.
• Receiving and put-away experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to reach and stretch safely.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Monday–Friday 6:30AM–3:30PM or 7:00AM–4:00PM.

Responsibilities

• Pulling/picking tickets and preparing orders for shipment.
• Restocking shelves and maintaining bin locations with accurate labels.
• Prepare orders for shipment with boxing and labeling.
• Operate wire machine per procedures.
• Operate forklift to move pallets and materials.
• Keep shipping area, aisles, yard and parking lot free of hazards.
• Assist sales counter associates when needed.
• Assist drivers with backup delivery operations.

As our Warehouse Associate II, here are some of the duties the position will be doing:

• Pulling/picking tickets
• Restocking shelves correctly; maintaining bin locations and labels; returning stock to proper locations
• Prepare orders for shipment by boxing and labeling items accurately
• Operating wire machine according to procedure
• Operating forklift to move pallets and other heavy materials
• Keeping shipping area, warehouse aisles and walkway, pipe yard and parking lot clean and free of any safety hazards
• Assist the sales counter associates on the sales counter when needed
• Assist drivers with backup delivery driving
