Job summary

Alameda Electrical Distributors & California Service Tool in Modesto, CA, is seeking a full-time Wire Center Associate II to join our team and support our branch. You will operate material handling equipment, cut and package wire, load/unload materials, perform quality inspections, and assist with inventory.

The role requires lifting 50 lbs, basic computer skills, and the ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Accurately cut, label, and package wire per customer orders.
• Load and unload materials; complete receiving documentation.
• Safely operate wire-cutting machines and related tools.
• Stage and store materials in designated areas.
• Conduct quality inspections on wire products.
• Assist with inventory tasks, including cycle counts and replenishment.
• Support process improvement and maintain a clean workspace.
• Follow all company safety policies and promptly report any damage.

As our Wire Center Associate II, here are some of the duties the position will be doing:

• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Accurately cut, label, and package wire per customer orders
• Load and unload materials; complete receiving documentation
• Safely operate wire-cutting machines and related tools
• Stage and store materials in designated areas

• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Ability to communicate effectively with other team members
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
• Ability to reach and stretch without personal injury
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
• Ability to work Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
