Lake Cable, LLC in Illinois is seeking a Machine Operator to set up, operate, and monitor equipment that manufactures wire and cable products. All shifts are available, with a focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and follow daily priority schedule.
• Review and interpret router and/or drawings of the product to be run.
• Set up the machine and locate the product to be run.
• Load the product to be run and the take up.
• Start the machine and take a sample to ensure product is within specification.
• Restart the machine and monitor the line to ensure specifications are maintained.
• Complete finished tags/labels for the completed product.
• Maintain daily log sheets and safe work practices.
• Attend monthly shift and Safety meetings.
• Be able to work weekends as necessary.
