Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is offering a two-week Wintership internship in Los Angeles, CA. You will work with expert buying teams, gaining hands-on experience in the office and market, and exploring what it takes to buy brands customers want at great values.

The program runs Monday–Friday in-person during business hours, with potential for future full-time opportunities after successful completion. The hourly rate is $22.00.

Responsibilities

• Observe the administrative and operational functions supporting a designated Buyer.
• Analyze and interpret key business issues as directed by supervisor including the monitoring of regional merchandise reports, Open‑to‑Buy monitoring, and stock analysis.
• Attend market appointments and competitive shopping trips.
• Learn our merchandising systems and gain understanding of warehouse processes.
• Demonstrate product knowledge through sharing information with buyer as a result of competitive shopping, shopping Ross Stores, and the market.

You’ll gain hands‑on experience in the office and in the market, learning what it takes to buy brands customers want at great values. As an additional goal, there are many future full‑time opportunities that await interns upon successful completion of the internship.

The hourly rate for this position is $22.00.
