Fox C 6 School District’s Seckman High in Imperial, MO is seeking an Assistant Wrestling Coach for the winter season. The role supports student‑athlete development, conducts practices, and helps manage game strategy and logistics.

The position is a part‑time stipend role requiring strong communication, supervision, and adherence to district policies and safety protocols. Evening and weekend commitments are expected during the season.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
CPR/First Aid certification and concussion training as required by district or state.
Coaching experience preferred (high school or equivalent level).
Knowledge of sport‑specific rules, techniques, and training methods.
Ability to work with students, staff, parents, and community members.

Responsibilities

Instruct student‑athletes in wrestling skills, strategies, and conditioning.
Promote character development, leadership, teamwork, and respect.
Plan, organize, and conduct structured practices throughout the season.
Develop game strategies and supervise athletes during contests.
Coordinate scheduling of games, transportation, and facilities with the Athletic Director.
Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with players, parents, administration, and staff.
