Mt. Hope High School in Bristol, RI is seeking a Boys Swimming Head Coach for the Winter 2026-2027 season.

The head coach will lead program administration, budgeting, scheduling, and team travel, while promoting student-athlete growth and sportsmanship in a supportive school setting. Starting immediately, candidates should hold RI coaching certification and NFHS/CPR certifications, with prior secondary school coaching experience preferred.

Qualifications

Experience coaching at the secondary school level is preferred.
Rhode Island Athletic Coach certification and NFHS/CPR certifications required or pending renewal.
Commitment to student development, safety, and adherence to rules.

Responsibilities

Promote, coordinate and continually improve the interscholastic swimming program.
Manage administration, budget, equipment, scheduling and team travel.
Ensure student-athlete growth, sportsmanship and compliance with rules.
Report to Athletic Director and align with district athletic goals.
