Job summary

Nimble is seeking Winter Athletic Coaches for the 2026-2027 school year in the Kinsella - Upper location. Coaches will develop student-athletes through structured practice, skill development, and competition coordination.

Responsibilities include planning, evaluating, and implementing programs, ensuring discipline and sportsmanship, and collaborating with the Principal and Supervisor of Athletics to schedule practices and contests.

Qualifications

• Three years coaching experience in the identified area.
• Knowledge of Hartford Public Schools’ regulations governing coaching and athletics.
• Experience with CIAC and NFHS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve coaching programs through planning, evaluation and implementation.
• Help students achieve skill development and self-esteem in a disciplined sport environment.
• Coordinate and plan practices in-season with supervision of athletics.
• Schedule interscholastic contests with supervisor.
• Oversee safety and distribution of all athletic equipment.
