Job summary

Nimble seeks a Winter Athletics Facility Manager/AD for the 2026-2027 school year to coordinate interscholastic athletics across multiple Hartford schools. You will manage scheduling for home and away games, seating for teams, the band, and other groups, and ensure safe, well-organized events.

Collaboration with coaches and administrators is essential to notify and sign up eligible student athletes, arrange transportation, and report hazards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Three years of successful experience in athletics, parks and recreation or related field.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in an urban setting.
• Knowledge of CIAC and NFHS regulations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Hartford Public Schools’ coaching/athletics regulations.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage home and away games.
• Arrange seating for teams, cheerleaders, and the band.
• Communicate with coaches, parents, athletes, police, safety officers, teachers, and event staff.
• Prepare written reports on hazardous conditions or problems.
• Serve as liaison between principals and coaches on schedules and transportation.
• Monitor money allocated for food allowances and athletic entry fees.
• Attend CIAC athletic trainings and conferences.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal.
