Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking a Snow Equipment Operator in Chicago, IL to perform safe snow removal using plows and heavy equipment. You must have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and experience with snowplows; you’ll work outdoors in winter conditions and report to a supervisor as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Reliable transportation to work sites.
• Prior snowplow equipment experience.
• Ability to operate equipment safely.
• Experience in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends/holidays, and overnight in winter.

Responsibilities

• Operate snowplow and heavy equipment to clear designated areas.
• Report to work when it snows, to a central location or jobsite.
• Deposit removed snow without obstructing trees, hydrants, or sidewalks.
• Identify and report safety concerns to supervisor.
• Complete job sheets immediately after each operation.
• Adhere to safety practices and company policies.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
