Job summary

MoDOT's Nevada Maintenance Facility in Nevada, MO is hiring an emergency maintenance equipment operator to perform routine snow removal duties under supervision. You will operate plow trucks, spread ice control materials, and maintain vehicles and equipment.

Candidates must be at least 18, hold CDL Class A or B with no air brake restrictions, pass a background check and drug screen, and be prepared for overtime and night work in outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• CDL Class A or B with no air brake restrictions and interstate status (EI or NI).
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicles to plow snow and spread ice control materials or to warn oncoming traffic.
• Cleans and performs routine maintenance on vehicles, equipment, buildings and grounds.
• Performs other responsibilities as required or assigned.
