Job summary

A family-owned contracting service is hiring reliable CDL Drivers for the 2026 winter season in Virginia Beach. Drivers will operate snowplow trucks during winter storms on an on-call basis. Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Pass a DOT drug screen and MVR review.
• Prior snowplow experience is helpful but not required.
• Must attend an 8-hour in-person snow training before the season starts.

Responsibilities

• Operate snowplow trucks safely and responsibly during winter storms.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety rules.
• Do pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Communicate with your Route Manager about service needs.
• Take part in required safety meetings and training sessions.

Skills

Valid Class A or B CDL

Clean driving record

Ability to operate snowplow trucks

Willingness to travel
