Job summary

Greatjob is seeking a Snow Removal Operator to operate plow trucks, skid steers, and de-icing equipment to keep driveways, parking lots, and sidewalks safe for clients in winter weather.

Under the supervision of an Operations Manager, you will respond promptly to weather conditions, maintain equipment, and follow safety protocols. The role may require early starts, overtime, and outdoor work in cold conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience operating snow removal equipment is preferred but not required; training provided.
• Valid state driver's license required for plow or salt truck positions.

Responsibilities

• Operate snow removal equipment (plow trucks, skid steers, front-end loaders) safely and efficiently to clear snow and ice from driveways, parking lots, sidewalks, and entryways.
• De-icing operations: operate salt spreaders and application equipment; determine application rates based on temperature and surface conditions.
• Inspect and maintain equipment daily; perform routine maintenance and report issues to management.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used; monitor inventory and report restocking needs.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE; participate in safety meetings as assigned.
