Job summary

Exscape Group, a leading snow and ice management provider, seeks a Snow Plow / Machine Operator to keep commercial properties safe during winter. You will operate plow trucks, salt trucks, loaders, and more, following Snow Response Plans and safety rules.

Requirements include 1–3 years of heavy equipment experience, a valid driver’s license, physical ability to lift up to 80 pounds, and flexibility for day/night/weekend shifts. Medical and 401(k) benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience operating snow removal or similar heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company vehicle insurance requirements.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by snow events.
• Ability to work outdoors in winter conditions, including exposure to cold, snow, wind, ice, and rain.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 80 pounds; perform repeated crouching, kneeling, reaching, stooping, bending, and walking; and sit in a vehicle for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Employment is subject to a background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate snow removal equipment, including plow trucks, salt trucks, front-end loaders, skid steers, tractors, and sidewalk machines (ATVs/RTVs), to clear snow and ice from parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, and other designated areas.
• Apply salt or de-icing materials as needed to maintain safe surfaces.
• Follow property-specific requirements and Snow Response Plans to ensure thorough and efficient service.
• Inspect and maintain equipment before and after use to ensure readiness and safety.
• Communicate with the Project Manager regarding site conditions, service needs, equipment status, and safety concerns.
• Complete assigned accounts within established timeframes while upholding safety and quality standards.
• Assist with post-storm cleanup and monitor on-site material inventories.
• Accurately complete and submit required documentation, including time sheets and material usage reports.
