Job summary

The role requires working outdoors in cold weather, flexible hours including nights and weekends, and a valid driver’s license. CDL may be required for larger vehicles.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license; CDL may be required depending on vehicle size and local regulations.
• Experience operating snow plow or heavy equipment preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in cold and severe weather conditions for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate snow plow trucks, salt spreaders, and other snow removal equipment to clear roads, parking lots, and driveways.
• Apply salt, sand, or de-icing materials to surfaces as required.
• Monitor weather and road conditions and respond promptly to snow or ice events.
• Inspect, maintain, and perform basic troubleshooting on snow plow equipment.
• Keep detailed logs of routes, service times, and material usage.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules while ensuring all areas are cleared to safety standards.
• Report hazardous conditions, equipment issues, or property damage to supervisors immediately.
• Adhere to all company policies, traffic regulations, and safety procedures.
• Assist with shoveling or other snow removal duties when necessary.
