The State of Indiana’s INDOT is hiring a Winter Seasonal Maintenance Worker for the Gary Sub District (Gary, Miller, Crown Point). You will operate highway maintenance and traffic equipment, perform snow and ice removal, and assist with signs and lane closures to keep roads safe.
Requirements include a valid CDL (Class A or B), a valid driver's license, and the ability to move 50 pounds and work outdoors in cold weather. Interviews and start dates are posted with bonuses for early start.

This position is responsible for performing general highway maintenance duties that keep INDOT assets in good working condition to ensure customer satisfaction. Seasonal Winter Program Workers perform snow and ice removal and related maintenance duties by operation of snow plow, and other winter operations duties as required. Traffic maintenance duties such as repairing and installing traffic signs and pavement markings are also required job duties for this position.

This Seasonal Winter position is in INDOT's Gary Sub District, locations include: Gary, Miller, andCrown Point.
This position pays an hourly rate of $21.00.
