Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a winter intern to join the Risk and Compliance Services – Financial & Regulatory Risk Services Team in New York. You will participate in risk assessments, document internal controls, and assist with control testing while working in a hybrid office setting.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in accounting, can commit to 2–3 days per week, and are legally eligible to work in the United States. GPA and Excel/Word skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a degree in accounting (Bachelor's or Master's) from an accredited college or university.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Participate in departmental risk assessments across multiple industries.
• Document the internal control environment, including IT controls, via walkthroughs.
• Test controls (entity, process, general computing controls) to confirm objectives are met.
• Prepare workpapers supporting testing results and analysis.
• Identify and communicate control issues both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate multitasking, teamwork, and responsibility with engagement teams.
