Job summary

Limelight Snowmass is hiring a Restaurant Server for the winter season. This full-time seasonal role involves serving food and beverages in a timely, friendly, and professional manner at a table service restaurant and/or bar/lounge, reporting to the Restaurant Manager.

The position requires strong knowledge of menus, excellent customer service, and the ability to upsell and handle POS transactions. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• One year prior guest service experience is preferred.
• TIPS Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages in a timely, friendly and professional manner.
• Set tables, stock condiments, and keep menus clean and updated.
• Stack and polish glassware and silver.
• Use sales techniques to upsell items and enhance guest experience.
• Provide beverage service (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to guests.
• Operate POS system and handle cash/credit transactions.
• Expedite food from kitchen while maintaining clean serving equipment.
• Communicate guest comments or complaints to the manager.
• Participate in daily restaurant cleaning and upkeep tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
