Job summary

H2ajobs is seeking a livestock-range worker to attend to cattle on the range and ranch. You will spend most days on the range, performing medical care, roping, tagging, feeding, and moving cows with emphasis on humane handling and safety.

Responsibilities include branding, healthcare, water provision, shelter setup, and assisting with vehicle and machinery use. Housing and meals provided, with extended periods in isolated work locations.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience required.
• Ability to live and work in isolated ranges for extended periods.
• Ability to operate equipment safely and responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Attend to livestock on the range and ranch, including medical care as needed.
• Administer medications, brand, tag, or identify young animals.
• Assist with feeding, watering, and shelter for animals and horses.
• Move and trail cow-calf groups, herd cows, and manage water sources.
• Maintain fences and meadow lands; assist with tools and equipment.
