• Direct field operations for a dedicated route, ensuring all sites meet service level agreements and safety standards.
• Coordinate the efforts of drivers and laborers to optimize efficiency during active snow and ice events.
• Operate a variety of machinery, including plow trucks, skid steers, and salt spreaders, to clear parking lots and walkways.
• Maintain constant communication with dispatch to provide real-time updates on site conditions and route progress.
• Proactively identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, equipment malfunctions, or site hazards to ensure continuous service.
• Document service completion and report site-specific data to support accurate billing and performance tracking.
• Enforce rigorous safety protocols across the team to prevent property damage and ensure a secure work environment.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• 2+ years of professional experience in snow and ice management.
• Proven background in a supervisory or crew lead capacity.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to operate non-CDL medium-duty trucks.
• Demonstrated ability to make sound, independent decisions during high-pressure weather events.
• Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 70 pounds and working outdoors in extreme cold for extended periods.
• Full availability for on-call shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on weather patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience managing commercial-scale snow removal contracts.
• Advanced proficiency in operating specialized snow removal equipment like loaders and industrial blowers.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency and site safety.
