The Mechanic Apprentice is responsible for performing preventative maintenance on heavy and light duty vehicles in a controlled environment under the supervision of an assigned mentor. The position is located on the North Slope and requires a rotational work schedule. Relocation assistance to Alaska is not provided; however, transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is provided. Room and meals are provided while in Prudhoe Bay. The Mechanic Apprentice position is available to current University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) and AVTEC students enrolled in an applicable automotive or heavy diesel program.

In-Vehicle Monitoring System: As part of our commitment to safety and accountability, company vehicles are equipped with in-cab cameras and vehicle monitoring systems.
